01Privacy
What we collect, and what we refuse to.
How Atlas Business Capital handles information about you and your business, for businesses in the United States and the United Kingdom. Written to describe this website as it is actually built, not as a template imagines it.
02Controller
Who is responsible.
Atlas Business Capital is a trading name of Veilon AG, Oberdorfstrasse 12, 8853 Lachen SZ, Switzerland. Veilon AG is the data controller for the information described here.
We arrange merchant cash advances and other working capital with third-party funding companies for businesses in the United States and the United Kingdom. We are a broker. We are not a lender, a bank or a funder, and we do not make the credit decision.
This policy explains what we collect when you use this website or send us an enquiry, why we hold it, who else sees it, and what you can require us to do about it.

03Collected
Everything the form asks for.
This site has one form. These are all of its fields, and the reason each one exists.
| Field | Why we ask |
|---|---|
| Business name | To know which business we are discussing. |
| What the business does | Funders price by industry and some decline whole sectors, so it changes the answer before anything else does. |
| Time in business | The first qualification filter. |
| Average monthly deposits | A band, not an exact figure. It is the single strongest indicator of what a funder will offer. |
| Amount requested | To know whether we can help at all. |
| What the funds are for | Optional. It helps us judge whether an advance is the right instrument. |
| Whether an advance is outstanding | Existing positions change what is available and whether stacking limits apply. |
| Your name, email and phone | So a person can reply to you. |
| State or region | Optional. Requirements differ between markets. |
| Anything else you tell us | Optional free text. Please do not put sensitive details in it. |
| Your consent, and the exact wording you agreed to | So the permission you gave can be reproduced later, not merely asserted. |
Collected automatically
Your IP address, used to rate-limit the form and block abuse. Any campaign parameters in the link you arrived through (for example utm_source), so we know which channel produced the enquiry. Your browser sends standard request information, as it does to every website.
There is no analytics suite, no advertising pixel and no session recording on this site at the time of writing.
What this website never asks for
- Social Security number or National Insurance number
- Date of birth
- EIN, company registration number or tax reference
- Driver's licence or passport number
- Bank account, sort code or routing numbers
- Bank login credentials of any kind
- Uploaded files. There is no upload anywhere on this site
This is an architectural decision, not a promise about intentions. The form has no field for any of it. If you are ever asked for these on a page of this website, it is not our page.
Documents, later and elsewhere
A funding file eventually needs bank statements, photo ID and a voided check or equivalent. Those are requested after a person has spoken with you, and they travel through a dedicated e-signature service, never through this website. That service publishes its own privacy terms, which we will identify to you before you use it.
04Purpose
Why we hold it, and our lawful basis.
UK data protection law requires a stated basis for each purpose. Consent is only one of them, and using it for everything would be wrong: consent can be withdrawn, and some records must survive withdrawal to remain meaningful.
| Purpose | Lawful basis | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry and discussing funding | Steps before a contract | You asked us to get in touch about funding, so contact is what you requested. |
| Placing your file with funders | Consent | Nothing goes to a funder unless you tell us to send it. You can refuse or withdraw at any point. |
| Marketing calls, texts and emails | Consent | The tick box on the form, which is never pre-ticked. Withdrawable at any time. |
| Rate limiting, spam and fraud prevention | Legitimate interests | Keeping an open form usable. The only data used is the IP address of the submission. |
| Keeping records of consent and of what we were asked to do | Legal obligation and legitimate interests | A consent record that is deleted on request cannot evidence the consent it recorded. |
Withdrawing consent
Email funding@atlasbusiness.capital or reply STOP to any text message. Withdrawal takes effect going forward and does not make our earlier processing unlawful. It may mean we can no longer progress your funding request, which is a practical consequence rather than a penalty.
06Transfers
Where it goes.
We operate from Switzerland and serve businesses in the United States and the United Kingdom, so information about you may be handled in a country other than your own, including by funders based in the United States.
Where a transfer leaves the UK, we rely on the safeguards required by UK data protection law for that destination. If you want to know which safeguard applies to your file before you send anything, ask us and we will tell you in writing first.
Retention
How long we keep it.
An enquiry that goes nowhere is kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back.
Where a file is placed, records are kept for as long as needed to deal with questions, disputes or regulatory obligations arising from it.
If you ask us to stop contacting you we keep the minimum needed to honour that instruction. Deleting the record entirely would lose the instruction not to contact you, which would defeat the request.
07Rights
What you can require us to do.
Your rights depend on where you are. We do not charge for any of this and we will not treat you differently for asking.
the United Kingdom
Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you may ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Delete it, where we have no overriding reason to keep it
- Restrict what we do with it while a question is resolved
- Provide it in a portable, machine-readable form
- Stop processing it where we rely on legitimate interests
- Withdraw consent, at any time
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk. We would rather you came to us first, but you are not required to.
the United States
Rights vary by state. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, California residents may:
- Ask what personal information we have collected and where it came from
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Opt out of any sale or sharing. We do neither
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
We honour Global Privacy Control signals. Residents of other states with comparable laws may exercise equivalent rights by contacting us the same way.
How to exercise any of this
Email funding@atlasbusiness.capital or call (305) 791-3797. We may need to confirm who you are before acting, so that someone else cannot obtain your data by asking for it. We respond within the time the applicable law allows, and sooner where we can.
08Security
How it is protected.
The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiries reach us through our messaging and email providers rather than sitting in a database on this website, and access is limited to the people who work the enquiries.
The strongest protection here is what is not collected. There is no identity document, no bank credential and no uploaded file on this site to lose.
We will never ask you for a bank login, a password or a one-time code. Anyone who does is not us.
Cookies
This site sets none.
At the time of writing there is no analytics suite, no advertising pixel, no remarketing tag and no third-party tracker on this website, so there is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
If that changes we will update this page and add proper controls before anything is set. You can also block cookies in your browser.
Other sites, and children
Links to other websites are their responsibility, not ours. This service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information about children.
Ask us anything about this.
If something here is unclear, or you want your information removed, say so and we will deal with it.
