03How to read it
They are easy to read in the wrong order, so here is what each one is and which one to argue about.
The number that matters
Total dollars repaid, set against the dollars that actually reached the account. Not the factor rate on its own. A lower factor carrying a larger origination fee can cost you more than a higher factor carrying a smaller one, and the weekly payment tells you nothing about either.
The advance multiplied by the factor rate: on the prefilled example, $100,000 at 1.35. It is a fixed dollar amount agreed up front. It does not grow if a quarter goes badly, and it does not shrink if you take longer. Settling early is the one thing that moves it: discounts for early payoff are substantial, and worth confirming in writing before you sign.
The origination fee is deducted at funding, not at the end. At 2% to 10%, a $100,000 advance lands in the account as $90,000 to $98,000. This, not the headline advance amount, is the sum the total repayment should be measured against.
Repayment is an automatic weekly ACH debit from the business account. The example runs about 43 weekly debits across 10 months. The debit is taken whether or not the week was good, so the figure has to fit your quietest week rather than your average one.
Total repaid minus what actually reached the account. Not the total minus the advance. That version quietly ignores the fee and understates the cost of every advance that carries one. On the example the true cost is $37,000 to $45,000, or 38% to 50% of the money you received.
The factor rate is not the price. The dollars are.

Your actual advance amount, factor rate, origination fee and term are set in underwriting. They come from your bank statements, the consistency of your deposits, any positions you already carry and the overall health of the business. Atlas Business Capital is a broker.
